Welcome to Mälargården Rehab Center

Mälargården was founded in the early 1970s with the focus on polio and traffic injuries. Since then many guests have received rehabilitation at the facilities which are specially designed for people with functional disabilities. Mälargården is located in the beautiful small town of Sigtuna, 50km north of Stockholm and close to Arlanda International Airport.

Guests with different types of injuries and functional disabilities have since been treated at Mälargården. Besides post-polio and traffic injuries we have guests with stroke, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson´s disease and other injuries to joint-, nerve- and muscle function.

Mälargården has a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants and psychologists who, together with the guest, elaborate an active rehabilitation plan for the stay.

Staff is on location 24 hours a day in order to serve our guests.
